Essential tremor is a common neurological disorder that causes involuntary, rhythmic shaking—usually of the hands—during purposeful movement. It arises from misfiring signals in the brain’s motor “timing” circuit linking the cerebellum and thalamus, often driven by inherited genetic factors.

I can pull 100 pounds, which is what the average 35-year-old can do. A year from now, I expect to be able to pull 110, which is what a 25-year-old can do.
